boyhappy.jpgAs experienced educators that are highly intent on challenging negative student self-perceptions, our Achiever McBeaver design team prides ourselves on developing a variety of quality character education lessons and materials that are: simple, easy to use, time friendly, and that your kids can get super excited about using. Our unique media products can be used independent of each other as separately purchased materials - or can make the most impact on student behavior and academics if used in combination as a complete and multi-level unit. In addition, Achiever McBeaver and The College Crew materials have been designed to be used on a limited scale with small/large group guidance sessions - or to be implemented schoolwide for maximum exposure and effectiveness.

Three pronged interlocking approach to K-6 character education:

1. Active Listening and Development of Internalized Virtues

Starring Achiever McBeaver and his College Crew friends, listen along to these wacky 36 "Voices of Reason" action stories that are specifically designed for your school PA systems or classroom guidance lessons. This unique radio series focuses on our C.A.R.E. system that is cleverly wrapped around 18 core character values. Your students are active participants in the high energy stories as they are asked to use their imagination, critical thinking, listening, and reasoning skills - which helps young students better internalize and implement the targeted virtues. The Achiever McBeaver "Voices of Reason" series is designed to be played weekly and comes with brief lessons that can be implemented by teachers or counselors with no preparation.

2. In-Depth Development of Skills and Personal Life Application

Another unique and complimentary program to Achiever Radio is a classroom or small group guidance series that takes a much more intense and personal look at the C.A.R.E. system. Delievered to you as a PDF series and based on popular Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, your studehighachiever2jpg.jpgnts are involved in 15 witty lessons that look at the behavior issues and emotional "hang-ups" of the College Crew members. In the final 16th lesson, participants become a College Crew member and must apply the reflection and self-analysis skills acquired from the first 15 lessons to their own lives. This system can be utilized by the classroom teacher as follow ups to the radio programs or used by the guidance counselor in classrooms or small groups. A one time purchase of High Achiever! covers SCHOOLWIDE single campus reproduction of the product as often as needed. Also, your one time purchase of High Achiever! includes a free copy of our "College Is For You" THEME SONG that can be played on your school PA system over and over, as well as free reproducible PDF posters of your favorite College Crew members!

3. Reinforced Learning: Repetition of Skill Use and Development

As a method of reinforced learning and application of the C.A.R.E. skills from McRadio and High Achiever!, our McDoolio game cards allow your students an opportunity to build personaldollio.jpg attachment to the 15 College Crew members and interact with them in a fun card game format. This added visual and emotional connection to our characters allows for the C.A.R.E. concepts and techniques to become better digested and internalized for your children. Believe it or not, your students will be speaking "School McDoolio" lingo in no time! Besides, why have your kids know all the powers and skills of their favorite Pokémon or Yu-Gi-Oh! hero when they can instead know the character traits and virtues that made their favorite College Crew member successful!
